Let me share a little about myself. Seven years ago I decided to quit my job as a math teacher and stay home to raise my two children. I knew it wasn't going to be easy living on one income, so I started looking at ways to save money. I had always used coupons and shopped sales, but I knew I needed to do more. Completely by accident I received a magazine in the mail that was devoted to using coupons and rebates. I didn't even know that something like that existed. I read the magazine cover to cover and was hooked. Who knew that people could get so much for free? I immediately ordered a subscription and decided that I was going to try learn to save money like the people in the magazine were doing. Soon I was saving 50% or more on my grocery bill and getting things for free left and right.
Seven years later and I am still at it. I spend a lot of time finding good deals and being a former teacher I always feel the need to teach my friends and family how to do the same good deals that I do. Everyone is amazed at how much money I save them and tell me that I need to teach classes on how to use coupons. I decided writing a blog might help me reach more people at once. I am hoping that one of those people will be you.
